Quality Music Lessons: Teaching students one note at a time

Daniel

Daniel began his exploration of music in the second grade with the piano.  He soon added clarinet and vocal performance to his studies, continuing to perform with the band, jazz band, and several choral groups throughout middle and high school.  He left it all behind for several years to pursue other interests, but his love of music was rekindled in college when he borrowed a friend’s guitar and brought it home for the weekend.  Since that day about 15 years ago, Daniel has never put it down.  He has performed at local establishments around the North Shore, and more recently as part of his involvement with patients at a rehabilitation center for addiction treatment.  He continues to learn and explore what is possible with musical performance.  The nature of music to combine complex patterns and theory with creative and emotional expression is one of its great pleasures, and something that keeps Daniel’s interest and enjoyment in music alive and fresh today.
